Entries to the 2025 Event are not open yet! – Look out for the early bird discount (will be posted around 1st of January 2025) but in mean time check out Yorks very own Canoe-Orienteering event which will be on 14th September.

The event is organised by experienced local paddlers. Entry fees will be used to support an annual programme of residential outdoor activities for people with learning disabilities. Everyone will enjoy paddling York’s historic city center course when the riverside will be crowded with tourists. Bring families, friends & groups and enjoy a great day out.
Open to All
The races are open to paddlers of all ages and abilities and all types of canoes.
Courses
Participants can choose between three different courses short (2.5km), medium (5km) and long (7.5km).
Parking
Unfortunately due to land hire costs charged by the council we will have to charge for parking on race day in Rowntrees Park. The cost of parking will be £1 per vehicle.
